I am a 22 years old Programmer in training at Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. I am planning on moving onto University after I graduate to study Computer Science for a Bachelor of Computer Science.
My life
I have spent most of my life on the computer ever since I discovered how to use the Internet and got my own computer with a faster connection. Since then I have enjoyed most of my time online viewing tech related sites and posting on message boards. Reading online articles from sites such as Digg and do what almost everyone does now which is Facebook and Twitter.
I attained most of my knowledge in computers, coding and graphics by visiting various forums, reading online tutorials and playing around with them during my free time. Although I am not a certified Hardware technician with an A+ certificate, I am more than capable of helping people with their computer problems.
Like all other Gamers out there, I also enjoy playing video games and will still prefer a good PC game over any console game even though I own a PSP, PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS Lite and an XBOX. I have sampled various types of PC games and have found FPS to be best with RTS in second. I recently got into MMOG(Massive Multiplayer Online Game) playing the ever so popular yet old game World of Warcraft (Not exactly old if you consider the fact the second expansion Wrath of the Lich King was released on November 2008. But it wouldn’t be my first MMO or RPG game. Conquer Online would be the first but I have stopped playing it since it was pretty boring.
I am hoping to pursue a career working with computers such as software development, game development, networking or just a regular computer technician, repairing and building systems for clients. This is the reason why I just don’t limit my knowledge to one primary field of study and learn the other two whenever I have free time. I am currently enrolled in Humber College to study and obtain a diploma to prove to the world that I am capable of doing the job well. According to one of my professor, Humber is the “Harvard” of colleges in Ontario.
My Life besides the computer
A life of a computer user has no life. It revolves around the computer and computer alone. If I did have a life it would be hanging out with friends playing video games at their place. Or go out for food, go to a bowling alley and bowl for a couple hours late at night or even go play pool at a pool hall. Do things that aren’t expensive and are fun to do.
Anime
I Love anime, I’ve watched alot of anime series and I still have alot more to watch. I started watching anime when I was a kid, so I guess you can say I grew up watching anime. The first anime series I watched were Dragonball and Sailor Moon (Usually with my cousins). Then Dragonball Z, GT, Gundam Wing. Since then I’ve watched series like Devil May Cry, Gundam Seed, Destiny, Gundam 00 etc etc. Too many to list. I have Been to Anime North 07, Anime North 08 and most recently Anime North 2009. I am planning on going to future Anime North conventions because I had alot of fun in the previous 3. I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow watching anime, I don’t even think it’s possible!
