Gundam Seed

I decided to rewatch Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. I’ve already finished Gundam Seed and now working my way on Episode 7 of Gundam Seed Destiny. Gundam Seed came out way back in 2003 and Destiny followed shortly afterwards in 2004. Since then there have been two other Gundam series anime that followed; Gundam 00 Seasons 1 and 2 and Gundam AGE.

I still really like Gundam Seed and I wish they had made a third series to take place after the events of Destiny.

After watching Gundam Seed, there is something that puzzles me. In the beginning of the show they explain how ZAFT forces created and deployed countless Neutron Jammmers on Earth which prevents any sort of nuclear fission reaction from occurring and the show never mentions if they created nuclear fusion.

If neutron jammers cancels the effect of nuclear reaction through fission, how was it possible for Earth Alliance’s Archangel to be powered by 6 Thermonuclear reactors if technically they should have been prevented from creating a reaction in the reactor. They can’t use Nuclear Weapons or Nuclear Power on Earth but they had no issues putting in a Nuclear generator on a Battleship. And not just one, but 6 main reactors and 2 for thrusters.

I know by the end of the series it showed that ZAFT had managed to create a neutron jammer canceller device to counteract the effects of the jamming devices. But by then Earth Alliance shouldn’t have had technical specs on it until they were leaked Rau Le Cruset (Or however you spell his name). This doesn’t really make sense, but I guess plot holes aren’t suppose to. lol

Also with the exception to Wing Zero Custom, Freedom and Strike Freedom are both my favourite Gundams in the series. With Strike Freedom beating original Freedom due to it’s massive upgrade in weaponry and other technical advancements of course.
